GM reaches deal to sell Hummer brand

Hummers on the lot at Tustin Hummer, a dealership in Tustin, Calif. General Motors Co. on Friday announced a deal to sell the brand to a Chinese firm, Sichuan Tengzhong Heavy Industrial Machinery Co. Hummer, the off-road vehicle that once epitomized America’s love for hulking trucks, is now in the hands of a Chinese heavy equipment maker.
